Suspended Group Activity due to the Corvid-19 virus

Dear Sangha

Out of an abundance of caution and to decrease the chances of accelerating the Corvid-19 virus, we will be closed for public meetings and Sunday Services until April 4th; we will then evaluate conditions in the community at large and whether it will be prudent or necessary to continue limited activities. That being said we see no reason not to hold daily early morning Zazen; Tue, Thurs, Fri. and Sat; however all temple roles e.g. Chiden, Doan. etc. are suspended.

We are planning to do “virtual” zazen and Dharma talks via zoom, particularly during the regular Sunday time period. We will send out more information as soon as we are ready to “go live”.

Also, one of the recommendations for those who are healthy is to maintain activities that support well-being; feel free to walk the Eightfold Path or work the grounds at your leisure; we only ask that you let us know of your plans beforehand so we can anticipate your arrival, more for safety concerns than anything else.

Please continue to make healthy choices and take care of each other.

Gassho
